The color of all dyed parts permeates by steaming fabric and is fixed. The last procedure in the dyeing process.
The cloth is wound roundly with a newspaper which is steamed once. The strength on which the cloth is wound is reduced moderately so that steam may pass, and it's put in a homemade steam iron pot. After having finished steaming, the coloring condition of the dyeing is confirmed, the cloth removes the stains and is done softly. After this, it's completed by a tailor of a kimono in case of a custom-made one. In case of a personal work, Mr. Sojo even sews the shape of the kimono up temporarily. The color becomes vivid by steaming. It's surprising to assume and dye this last discoloration from the beginning.
